I miss the cupcakes from Bakedbymelissa NYC. saw this nice shop while walkin bk to hotel from korean town. decided to give it a try. to keep myself happy! =) i m happy when i eat sweet stuffs! yeah

the shop is along pitt street. come out from hilton hotel bk door turn right. its a few shop on the right aft the 1st traffic light.

Salzburg - the Land of Salt!

Salzburg! this is the place i plan to go!! plan to go with Shithead. too bad! i had so much fun with the gals!

its was a bad start initially. the tour arranged by the hotel fly us kite! the pick up from the tour came late. when we reach the pick up point where our tour bus is waiting for us, there was a loooooong queue of ppl waiting to go up the bus. As we were there late due to the late pick up from hotel, we were the last few in the queue. when we were abt to board the bus, we were told the bus is full so we cant go for the tour! WTF! they refuse to do anything n nv apologise. all they could say is "TOO BAD!" wtf is too bad!! cb!

End up we went for an alternative. a tour arranged by the train stn. but instead of traveling on the bus, ours is on a train. its abt 2hrs train ride away from munich! the tour guide - Valerie is very nice n helpful. she even intro us to munich on the train. tell us wat to do n where to go ard in munich if we are free. wat to nice to eat! not like some guide onli explain to u abt the place we are goin n then he keep his mouth shut.

there's nutin much to see at the train stn. u gotta walk abt 10mins b4 our 1st stop. MirabellGarten. its the settin where some scene from Sound of the Music was filmed. very beautiful. june is the best time to go. coze all the flowers are blooming. nice n colourful!

next we walk pass the place where Mozart grew up. he grew up there till he's 17 and he moved to Vienna. (His house in Vienna is MUCH prettier) u see! abit chui lah!

then we haf to cross the bridge to the other side of salzburg where most of sight seeing stuffs are located. we cut thru alleys n finali came to the reknown walking street in salzburg! they are reknow for their special signboard. eg, ZARA!!

along the street has oso the born place of Mozart. there is dis building painted in yellow with big gold words slash on it saying " Mozart's Birth House". u may wanne go in n take a look. but abit waste time wan lah.. wahah! or shd i say i not so "musical" to wanne go in n juz to see how his birth house looks like lor.. 

next we went to the market place. where they sell the famous Mozart Kugel Chocolate. the Red packagin ones are the imitations. cheap n good as souvinors. but if its yr 1st time tasting it, u gotta buy the original expensive but super nice "Furst". Seriously i dunno wat the diff. taste the same. dun reali like it too. haha!

after that they brought us to see the Fortress. but rena n i were too tired so decided to head off for lunch n la kopi to relax. haha! well its the same shit lah. climb high high n take pic of the city. but everything looks the same lor.. coze all small small! wahaha!

as usual, aft makan went to buy magnet, shot glass n post card! wrote my postcards to Eunice, Sam n Chibi while we la kopi! but i din drink coffee lah. i tried there local brewed Beer - Stiegl. erm.. ok lah not bad.. so long beer i drink liao buey headache is good lor.. haha!

sway things comes all together wan. on the way bk on the train, the electrical thingy on the train siu dor and was STUCK at the stn for 2hours!!!! one of the gal kenna swollen lips!! wahaha! we keep taking pic with her. one caught a cold as we were fightin with the tour agency in the cold when they stop us from goin the tour n refuse to do anything abt it. n one kenna cold rash! wahahah! all i kenna was eggcitement as Josh is touching down soon!!! woohoo!! i will wanne go salzburg again on my own. spend some time there. saw a big toy shop but have no time to go in... sad.

the stn is Rosenheim which we were stuck at for 2 stupid hours!!

Jungfraujoch and Basel with Mama

Brought mama to Zurich b4 they stop the long stay pattern aft lauching A380 flying to zurich.

Day 1, we went to jungfraujoch. its the highest point of europe. intended to join the hotel but apparently the tours onli operate on weekends during winter.. cock lah.. so end up we yong yong go on our own. its more ex. abt 251 frank for juz traveling to n fro the mountian. tho its ex, the view was wonderful!

 we took 5 different trains, traveling for 4.5hours to get to the top of jungfrau. omigod. i finish knitting a roll of yarn on the way up lor.. leaving me nuting to do on the way back.. can imagine how loooooong is the journey lor..

this trip is intended to bring mama see super heavy snow! n it reali did snow like crazy on the mountain!

the snow looks so nice. i pick up some n started eatin them.. who noes 1hour later my stomach ache liao.. kaoz.. it looks so clean lah! cheat my feelings...

basically din do much up there as well. as itw winter n having snow weather, the outdoor games were closed.. so we onli went out the deck, experience how heavy snow with temp of -18degress feels like.. its very difficult to breath outside.. the feeling is quite scary lor.. but since we spend so much to come up, bo bo muz take a few pictures lor..

the snow is so thick n white until the whole pic turn out so glowy. wahaha cant even see the background!

oh did i mention i forgot to bring my camera charger.. so all pics were taken by hp cam nia.. wahahah! cock me again!

its my mum's 1st time traveling to super cold country so i made her dress up like ba zhang! so cute lah..

day 2 @ Basel

walau, my mama piss me off damn badly over this trip.. told me she did homework regards to Basel so i dun have to worry. so i trust her lah. basically all she did was write down wat to see there with no address or other info.. kAOZ!

nvm heng me clever ah! noe how to read map. but!!! the map din indict landmarks. onli street name.. -_-"" so i end up have to ask an uncle how to go.. he was so nice to bring us all the way from train stn to the main walking street where we juz haf to walk straight for another 2 blocks we will reach Marktplatz, my mama's 1st stop on her hmwork.

  Marktplatz is like a basar malam in singapore. but its open daily lor. mainly sells foods, veg, flowers, cheeze, sausages n stuff.. abit like our market lor..

there's dis store selling ALOT of different types of mushroom! i'm so amaze by the variety of mushroom tt is edible lah! so i order an mushroom stew cook by all the mushroom tt she is selling!! damn damn shiok!

this red thing is their cityhall aka RATHAUS auf deutch. 2nd thing on mama's hmwork to see. cant reali go in to see so onli pic on the outside and the main gate..

next on the list is this "spavendor" the oldest gate in the city. its reali sooooo old tt i can see many piles of accumilated BIRD SHIT all over the floor there! i bet the 1st pile of shit is dated back in 1970s.. wahahaha!

next is the Rhein. this river leads from germany to swizterland. behind me is the famous mittle brucke. dun ask me y famous. coze i oso dunno. hee. further up the river is where the 3 borders of france, swiss n germany meet!

this is the Cathedral. the name damn stylo lah coze no name!! wahahaha! the name of the cathedral is Cathedral!! double cock lor.. anyway i realise churches in Basel loves to use sundial to read time.. every church will haf a sundial.

this is the immigration to france! haha! i'm currently positioning half in swiss n half in france! so happening lor.

we tried to walked to the border of basel n france(i dunno which town is beside basel lah) BUT ITS FENCHED UP!!!! i tot i can walk to france to breath some french air since Baby is FQ and he's otw flyin to paris then..

HELP!! i wanne cross over lah!!

the rest of the sightseeing stuff will b museum. any museum u can think of is there. from art to musik to CARTOON!!!! to culture etc... which me n mama totali not keen. so decide to go home n slp liao..   but b4 i leave! as usual postcard time! dis time apart from sending CHIBI TAN postcards from places i've visited, i included Samuel in my mailing list! i wanne share with him wat i've seen n things i've done there! =)

so head back to zurich..took a walk down to the lake of zurich from train stn. saw this BLUE dog damn cute.. i wonder if they will make a BLUE bird statue place there too!! wahaha

the panoramic view of the mountians!! so nice!! according to statistic, lake como is the 3 most romantic place in the world with the view of the mountian n lake but i still think lake of zurich is better.
