Skinny Pizza @ Wheelock Place

alwaz walk pass this newly opened Skinny Pizza when i go for my scrapebook class. so since purple joinin me in the envelope class, we decided to try it aft class!

the service was wonderful. the waiters were helpful n explain the menu whenever we have quiries. But they forgot one of our order when there are onli 4 tables occupied.. i ordered the PJ while is highly recommended.. its disgusting! diluted as they mix pj wif cucumber to create a "refreshing taste" haha! wtf. the soup was abit disappointing. its tasted like instant soup, very floury.. 

the pizza was OMFG good! we ordered the squid ink pizza since it highly recommended by the staff! yummy yummy yummy! even when i blog abt it nw i'm drooling!! purple finds it alittle saltish. but i find everything taste perfect! woohoo! the sausage was wonderful too! we order the spicy chix. its so juicy everytime we cut it, liquid burst out!! its another muz try too!

the dessert was normal. there are better places selling dessert. purple's bitter coco tart was a blast! nice n bitter. but mine was ekkkk! i ordered strawberry shortcake but it tasted like super dry apple crumbler.. -_-"" wtf! i hate my cake dry n NO CREAM! i love cream.... 

well i will definately go bk again! but this time onli for the sausage n pizza!

Grand Shanghai Restaurant

brought Mama to dis very nice shanghainess restaurant 2day! nv been there b4 but my car drove pass it many times.

i alwaz tot its a nite club!! wahahahaha! but the inside reali look abit like nite club lor. a stage in front n tables all forward facing to the stage to watch the china performance. basically is the typical china gal singing oldies in cheongsam lor. a very typical shanghai niteclub u see in hongkong series wan. haha. my mum enjoyed herself alot. the food was EXCELLENT. the service is wonderful esp the captain MR David. excellent recommendation on the food. patient with us as well. =) its a very wonderful dining experience!

my mum feel alittle pinch when she saw the price initially but after the dinner she said its worth it! she loves the music and performance very much as well. afterall the songs are all from her era wan mah. we stayed alittle longer aft we finished our 7 course meal since she enjoyed the performance.  

we are planning to go there again in the near future! yeah! next time on my mum liao! wahahahah!

dinner they open at 1830-2230. performance onli starts at 1915. last abt 5songs then she will rest and perform again on every 15mins past the hour.

Nelson's Birthday @ Hort Part KHA

its a very cool evening @ Hort Park, Hyderabad Road. brought Nelson to mama's favourite Thai restaurant since he wanted us to bring him to a place he has never been b4 for his birthday meal! i almost VOMIT blood when i called to made reservation.

conversation as below:

"good evening, what may i do for you."

"i'll like to make a reservation for 3 at 1830 2nite."

"no problem mdm. would you like indoor or outdoor seats?"

"do you have seats in the forest (outdoor)?"

"sorry mdm the seats are all reserved.."

"oh.. then do you have seats by the water (outdoor too)?"

"so sorry mdm those seats are all reserved too.."

"(in my heart! wat the fark! super angry) since ALL the outdoor seats were reserved, why do you bother to ask if i wanted indoor or outdoor!!!"

"i'm sorry mdm. let me check again.... oh! we haf a vacant table by the water! "

feel like slapping him lah. but their service is usuali excellent. dunno y he so duh. the staff there are alwaz friendly n very attentive! even they made a mistake they will take ownership n apologize. with e rapport built the moment we arrived, we will nv b upset with forgetfulness n of coze the stupid conversation i had earlier when i made reservation! =)

MY FAVOURITE STARTER: 3 types of famous thai starter esp the pomelo salad! YUMMY!

mama wanted to order dis as she has craving for MANGO SALAD: its roasted duck with mango salad
not very much to my liking due to a weird spice added. but still taste good.

Nelson's fav dish of the day!: FATTY ROASTED PORK BELLY!
reali reali reali reali reali yummy but the fats is scary lah! well, its a choice of good but fat food or stay slim n eat water boiled veg. =p

we order dis for the 1st time as mama loves to eat "baby" squid after she read the menu: marinated pork n rice stuffed in "baby" squid.

but who noes when the "baby" squid came, its like "HUGE" squid lor!! muahaha! as quoted by Nelson "its a baby of a giant squid so its still baby squid.."

tastes nice! but abit salty. goes very well wif plain rice. unfortunately we ordered OLIVE FRIED RICE! =)

Here is the super YUMMY Oliver Fried Rice! my fav! i think it taste better than pineapple.

another of my fav!: soft shell crab with yellow curry
the curry is fully absorbed by the eggs. so basically you dun get to see any curry sauce. it'll look like chilli crab. the sauce all mixed with eggs! =) super yummy! its a MUST ORDER dish n according to the staff there its the MOST ORDERED POPULAR dish!

haha! still my fav dish!: stir fried "morning glory"
when i 1st heard this name i was like wtf is morning glory sia! well its basically KANGKONG LAH!!! walau atas place try to use atas name! -_-"" tho its a very normal dish,  its very 香 very got 鑊味(read in cantonese then you can relate) i juz realise almost every dish is my fav lor. muahaha!
the next coming dish is my fav of my fav!

tata! MANGO STICKY RICE!
walau the pandan sauce is damn good, the rice is damn QQ, the mango is damn sweet! the whole combi is POWER!
i will definately drive all the way from woodlands to alexandra juz to eat it! so you can imagine the magic of putting it in your mouth!

after eatin so much food, my dear fren still wanne buy CHEESE CAKE AH!!! omigod.. well its his bdae so i guess muz at least let him blow candle lah. but hor he order 3 slices of cake n 1 cream puff lor.. not scare i wont vomit due to over eat plus did i mention i was suffering from very bad gastric flu?? had very bad body ache plus very bad lose stools plus vomit when something enters my mouth!

so a picture of our birthday boy with his birthday cake! =) all the cakes tastes wonderful! Chibi has hald a slice of the cheese cake too! the cream puff sux tho.. tasted LAO HONG.. yukes!

He wanted to take pic with ah bi. so that will be his birthday prezzie - picture with CHIBI! haha! i damn cheapo lah! but again! the meal @ KHA costed $237 lor! i aint cheapo afterall! the food worth every cent! esp with the company + nelson so sayang me n mama! =)
